At 5:00 pm today, the center of Hurricane Teddy was located near latitude 26.7 degrees north, longitude 60.2 degrees west or about 475 miles or 765 kilometers southeast of Bermuda. Teddy is moving toward the northwest near 13 mph or 20 km/h and this motion is expected to continue through tonight.
Hurricane Teddy does not pose a direct threat to our region, however swells generated by this system will continue to affect the Lesser Antilles into the weekend.

At 5:00 pm today, the centre of Tropical Storm Wilfred was located near latitude 14.0 degrees north, longitude 39.2 degrees west. Wilfred is moving toward the west-northwest near 14 mph or 22 km/h and this general motion is expected to continue through Sunday. Maximum sustained winds are near 40 mph or 65 km/h with higher gusts. Weakening is expected on Monday, and Wilfred is expected to dissipate by Tuesday.
Tropical Storm Wilfred is not expected to pose a threat to our region.
A tropical wave is located near the West Coast of Africa and will move westward over the eastern Atlantic during the next few days. Development of this system, if any, will be slow to occur during the next few days
