WEATHER SUMMARY

The Atlantic High Pressure System will continue to generate moderate east-northeasterly to easterly winds across the Eastern Caribbean during the next 24 hours.  A marginal increase in atmospheric moisture and instability and will produce some scattered showers across parts of southern Eastern Caribbean region during the forecast period.

An upper level trough over the north Eastern Caribbean is expected to generate a gradual increase in cloudiness, showers and possible thunderstorms over the central and southern Eastern Caribbean from late Friday.

The La Soufriere volcano in Saint Vincent remains active and additional eruptions and ash plumes are possible at any time. Interests in Saint Lucia and the south Eastern Caribbean region are advised to continue monitoring official information from reliable media outlets for updates.
