FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES

Partly cloudy skies, becoming cloudy at times with some scattered showers. A chance of isolated thunderstorms is possible over the far southern Windward Islands.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

Patches of low level clouds drifting along an easterly wind flow, will produce some cloudy periods with showers over the northern half of the Lesser Antilles.

A tropical wave over the southern portion of the region will produce scattered showers with a chance of isolated thunderstorms during the forecast period.  

Another tropical wave located over the Central Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected over the Tropical Atlantic during

the next five days.

The alert level at the La Soufriere volcano in Saint Vincent remains at Orange.
