FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES

Cloudy at times with scattered light to moderate showers over the northern Windward and Leeward Islands. Partly cloudy and hazy, becoming cloudy at times with some scattered showers, mainly over the southern Windward Islands and areas further south.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

An upper level trough will cause an increase in cloudiness and showers over the

central and northern half of the Lesser Antilles, during the next 24 hours.

Moisture and instability associated with a weak tropical wave, will

cause some cloudiness and showers mainly over the southern half of our region, during the forecast period.

A second tropical wave located over the eastern Tropical Atlantic is moving

westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected over the Tropical Atlantic during

the next two days.

The alert level at the La Soufriere volcano in Saint Vincent remains at Orange.
