TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
The Atlantic High Pressure System will generate moderate to brisk easterly winds and fair to partly cloudy conditions across the Eastern Caribbean Islands, during the next 24 hours.
A plume of Saharan dust haze will cause a reduction in visibility and air quality over our region, during the next few days.
Two tropical waves located over the Central and Eastern Tropical Atlantic are moving westward near 20 mph or 31 km/h.
A third tropical wave has emerged off the West African coast and has a low chance of development over the next few days. This wave is moving westward near 12 mph or 19 km/h.
The alert level at the La Soufriere volcano in Saint Vincent remains at Orange. Interests in Saint Lucia and the South-Eastern Caribbean region are advised to continue monitoring official sources for updates.
