TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
The atmosphere over the Eastern Caribbean region is sufficiently moist and unstable to generate occasional cloudiness with few scattered showers and a chance of isolated thunderstorms.
An approaching tropical wave, a few hundred miles east of the southern portion of the Lesser Antilles, will produce increased cloudy periods, scattered showers and a chance of isolated thunderstorm during the next 24 to 36 hours.
Another tropical wave located over the eastern tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h.
The alert level at the La Soufriere volcano in Saint Vincent remains at Orange. Interests in Saint Lucia and the south-eastern Caribbean region are advised to continue monitoring official sources for updates.
