FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES

Over the Windward Islands, generally cloudy and hazy skies with scattered showers, which may be heavy in some locations and isolated thunderstorms. Elsewhere, fair to partly cloudy and hazy skies with a few showers.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

Moisture and instability associated with the Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone and an approaching tropical wave, will cause cloudy conditions with showers and thunderstorms over portions of the Lesser Antilles, during the next 24 hours.

A tropical wave located a few hundred miles east of the Lesser Antilles is moving westward at about 15 mph or 24 km/h. This system is expected to begin affecting the lesser Antilles on Sunday.

Another tropical wave located over the eastern Tropical Atlantic is moving westward at about 17 mph or 28 km/h. This wave has a low chance for tropical cyclone formation during the next five days.

A third tropical wave located over the far eastern Tropical Atlantic is also moving westward at about 17 mph or 28 km/h.
