TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

An area of Saharan dust haze will continue to cause a reduction in visibility and air quality across the Eastern Caribbean region, over the next couple of days.

A weak tropical wave is expected to cause some cloudy periods with showers around the Eastern Caribbean islands tonight. No significant rainfall is expected with the passage of this system.

Another tropical wave located over the central Tropical Atlantic is moving westward at about 15 mph or 24 km/h. This system has a 50 percent or medium chance of developing into a tropical cyclone during the next five days.

A third tropical wave located over the far eastern Tropical Atlantic is also moving westward at about 15 mph or 24 km/h.
