TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

Saharan dust will continue to cause a reduction in visibility and air quality across the Eastern Caribbean region, over the next couple of days.

A tropical wave with an area of low pressure is located over the central Tropical Atlantic. The system is currently moving westward at about 17 mph or 28 km/h and is forecast to move west-northwestward today, then turn northward Saturday. There is a high chance of further development of the system into a tropical depression during the next couple of days before it moves into a less favorable environment.

Another tropical wave located over the eastern Tropical Atlantic is moving westward at about 17 mph or 28 km/h.
