TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

The Atlantic High-Pressure System will continue to generate moderate to brisk easterly winds and locally rough seas around the Eastern Caribbean Region during the next 24 hours.

A gradual increase in moisture and instability, associated with a weak surface trough east of the Lesser Antilles, will produce a few cloudy periods with some scattered showers and possibly isolated thunderstorms, mainly over the southern portion of the region during the next 24 hours.

A tropical wave, located over the central Tropical Atlantic, is moving westward near 17 mph or 28 km/h.  This wave is expected to produce some scattered showers and increased cloudy periods from Thursday.
