FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES

Cloudy to overcast with scattered showers, periods of rain and thunderstorms over the central Windward and Leeward Islands. Further south, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with some scattered showers and a chance of isolated thunderstorms.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

The atmosphere over the Eastern Caribbean region remains very moist and unstable following the passage of a tropical wave. Periods of cloudiness, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue across the region during the forecast period.

Another tropical wave located a few hundred miles east of the southern portion of the Lesser Antilles, is moving westward near 17 mph or 28 km/h.  This wave is expected to begin affecting the region from late Monday, producing periods of cloudiness, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.
