FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES

Partly cloudy to cloudy and hazy, with scattered showers and a chance of isolated thunderstorms over the Leeward Islands. Elsewhere, partly cloudy and hazy, becoming cloudy at times with some scattered showers.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

Moist and unstable conditions over the extreme northern portion of our region, will continue to cause cloudiness, showers and possibly thunderstorms over these areas, during the forecast period.

Saharan dust will continue to cause a reduction in visibility and air quality over the Eastern Caribbean region, during the next couple of days.

A weak tropical wave located just to the east of the Lesser Antilles, is expected to affect mainly the Windward Islands and areas further south from late today into Friday.

Another tropical wave located over the central Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h.
