FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES

Partly cloudy to cloudy at times with some scattered showers and a chance of isolated thunderstorms over the northern Windward and Leeward Islands.  Further south, fair skies occasionally becoming cloudy with a few showers and a low chance of isolated thunderstorms.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

Lingering moisture and instability in the wake of a tropical wave over the Lesser Antilles will continue to produce a few cloudy periods with showers and possibly isolated thunderstorms mainly over the central and southern Windward Islands during the next 24 hours.

A trough system located just west of the Leeward Islands will continue to cause cloudiness, showers and possibly isolated thunderstorms over these islands, during the forecast period.

Saharan dust will continue to cause a reduction in visibility and air quality over the Eastern Caribbean region, during the next couple of days.

Two other tropical waves located over the central and eastern Tropical Atlantic are moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h.
