FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES

Fair, hazy and breezy, occasionally becoming cloudy with a few scattered showers. A gradual increase in cloudiness with showers is expected over the southern portion of the Lesser Antilles from tonight.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

An approaching tropical wave located just east of the Lesser Antilles is moving westward near 23 mph or 37 km/h. This wave is expected to begin affecting the southern portion of the Lesser Antilles from tonight.

Another tropical wave located over the central Tropical Atlantic is also moving westward near 23 mph or 37 km/h.

Saharan dust haze will continue to cause a reduction in visibility and air quality around the Eastern Caribbean during the next few days.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected over the Tropical Atlantic during the next five (5) days.
