FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES

Partly cloudy skies, becoming cloudy at times with some scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms mainly over the southern half of the region. Elsewhere fair to partly cloudy, hazy and breezy with a few showers.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

The Atlantic High-Pressure System will continue to generate moderate to brisk easterly winds across the Eastern Caribbean during the forecast period.

Moisture and instability associated with a tropical wave, will continue to cause some cloudiness and showers mainly over the southern portion of the region during the forecast period.

Another tropical wave located over the western tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 21 mph or 33 km/h. This system is expected to cause periods of rain, moderate to heavy showers and thunderstorms over the islands from tonight into tomorrow.

A third tropical wave located over the far eastern tropical Atlantic is moving westward at about 17 mph or 28 km/h.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected over the Tropical Atlantic during the next five (5) days.
