FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

The Atlantic High-Pressure System will continue to generate moderate to brisk easterly winds and locally rough seas across the Eastern Caribbean during the forecast period.

Moisture and instability in the wake of a tropical wave, will continue to cause periods of cloudiness, scattered showers and possibly isolated thunderstorms over the southern portion of the region during the next 24 hours.

Another tropical wave located over the central tropical Atlantic is moving westward at 23 mph or 37 km/h. This wave is expected to affect the Lesser Antilles on Wednesday.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected over the tropical Atlantic during the next five days.
