TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

Moist and unstable conditions over the southern half of the Eastern Caribbean region, will cause cloudiness and showers over the Windward Islands and areas further south today.

Saharan dust haze will cause a reduction in visibility and air quality across the Lesser Antilles for the next couple of days.

A tropical wave located over the western Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 17 mph or 28 km/h. This wave is expected to affect our region from late tonight into Wednesday.

Another tropical wave located over the central Tropical Atlantic is also moving westward near 17 mph or 28 km/h.

A third tropical wave located over the eastern Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 23 mph or 37 km/h. This wave has a medium chance of developing into a tropical depression within the next five days.
