FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES

Over the Windward Islands, generally cloudy with scattered showers which may be locally heavy and isolated thunderstorms. Further north, fair to partly cloudy and slightly hazy with a few brief showers.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

A tropical wave located a few hundred miles east of the Windward Islands, is expected to cause cloudiness, showers and isolated thunderstorms over the southern portion of the region during the next 24 hours.

Another tropical wave located over the far eastern tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 12 mph or 19 km/h.

The Atlantic High-Pressure System will continue to generate moderate easterly winds across the Eastern Caribbean, during the next few days.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected over the Tropical Atlantic during the next seven (7) days.
