FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES

Over the extreme southern Lesser Antilles, mostly cloudy with scattered showers and possible isolated thunderstorms. Elsewhere, fair to occasionally cloudy, hazy and breezy, with widely scattered showers.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

The Atlantic High-Pressure System will generate moderate to brisk easterly winds and locally rough seas across the Eastern Caribbean region, during the next few days.

A plume of Saharan dust haze will continue to cause a significant reduction in visibility and air quality over the region, during the next few days.

A tropical wave located a few hundred miles east of the Windward Islands is expected to affect the extreme southern portion of the region late tonight into tomorrow.

Another tropical wave located over the central Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 17 mph or 28 km/h.

A third tropical wave located over the far eastern tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 15 mph or 22 km/h.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected over the Tropical Atlantic, during the next seven (7) days.
