TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
The Atlantic High-Pressure System is expected to build across the region.
Weak unstable conditions will cause a few scattered showers over the area during the next 24 hours.
A broad area of low pressure associated with a tropical wave located over the eastern Tropical Atlantic has become better organized. Additional development of this system is expected and a tropical depression is likely to form over the weekend or early next week. This system is moving slowly westward near 8 mph or 13 km/h. The system is likely to be near the Lesser Antilles by the middle to latter part of next week. Residents in the Lesser Antilles should continue to monitor the progress of this system.
