TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
Weak unstable conditions in the lower atmosphere, will continue to cause cloudiness and showers over the Windward Islands tonight. A drier and more stable atmosphere is expected over the region from tomorrow.
A plume of Saharan dust will continue to reduce visibility and air quality across the Lesser Antilles, during the next 24 hours.
A tropical wave located over the central Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h. This wave is expected to affect the region by Tuesday.
A second tropical wave located over the eastern Tropical Atlantic has a low chance of development at this time. This wave is moving westward near 17 mph or 28 km/h.
A third tropical wave is located off the west coast of Africa and moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h. Environmental conditions are forecast to be conducive for gradual development and a tropical depression could form during the latter half of this week.
