TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
The Atlantic High-Pressure System will maintain light to moderate easterly winds across the Lesser Antilles during the forecast period.
A plume of Saharan dust haze is expected to reduce visibility and air quality over the Lesser Antilles during the next 24 hours.
An approaching tropical wave located east of the Lesser Antilles is moving westward near 17 mph or 28 km/h. The wave is expected to begin affecting the region overnight by producing increased cloudiness with some scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.
A tropical wave 550 miles southwest of Cabo Verde is producing disorganized activity, but conditions are more favorable for development into a tropical depression later this week as it moves west to west-northwest near 20 mph or 31km/h across the central Atlantic.
