TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
Showers and thunderstorms associated with a tropical wave located about 350 miles or 563 kilometers east of the Lesser Antilles, have continued to become less organized. This system is moving into a region of increasing upper-level winds and dry air, and the potential for development continues to decrease. Although development is unlikely, gusty winds, thunderstorms and areas of heavy rain are possible across portions of the region tonight and Saturday. The wave is moving westward near 15 mph or 28 km/h.
Another tropical wave located over the central Tropical Atlantic continues to produce disorganized showers and thunderstorms. While environmental conditions are conducive for gradual development over the next few days, the system could encounter strong upper-level winds next week, decreasing its chances of development next week. The wave continues to move westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h, across the central Tropical Atlantic.
A third tropical wave is located just off the coast of Africa and is moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h.
