An area of disorganized showers and thunderstorms associated with a low pressure system is located a few hundred miles east of the Leeward Islands. Some slow development of this system is possible during the next 5 days while it moves slowly northwestward.

Another tropical wave located over the central tropical Atlantic is and is moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h.

A third tropical wave located over the eastern tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h. This wave has the potential to become a tropical depression early next week while it moves westward across the tropical Atlantic Ocean.

At 11:00 am today, the centre of Tropical Storm Gabrielle was over the open Atlantic Ocean, and does not pose a threat to the Lesser Antilles.
