TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

The Atlantic High-Pressure System will continue to generate light to moderate easterly winds across the Eastern Caribbean, during the next couple of days.  Low-level cloud patches drifting along the wind flow will cause a few showery periods over most of the region, during the next 24 hours.

A tropical wave located a few hundred miles east of the Windward Islands, is moving westward near 17 mph or 28 km/h.  This wave is expected to begin affecting the southern portion of the region from Saturday afternoon.

Two other tropical waves located over the central and far Eastern Tropical Atlantic, are moving westward between 12 to 17 mph or 19 to 28 km/h.

A plume of Saharan dust haze in varying concentrations will impact visibility and air quality across the region, over the next few days.
