FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES

Partly cloudy to cloudy and hazy, with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms over the central to southern Windward Islands and areas further south. Elsewhere, fair to partly cloudy and hazy, with a few showers.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

A tropical wave with its axis located just east of the Windward Islands, is expected to cause cloudiness with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms over the southern portion of the region from later this evening into Sunday. Moisture and instability ahead of this wave, will continue to cause a few showery periods over parts of the region, during the forecast period.

Two other tropical waves located over the central and eastern Tropical Atlantic, are moving westward near 17 and 21 mph or 28 and 33 km/h, respectively.

A plume of Saharan dust haze in varying concentrations will impact visibility and air quality across the region, over the next few days.
