TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
The Atlantic High Pressure System will generate light to moderate easterly winds across the region for the next few days.
A strong tropical wave associated with an area of low-pressure located over the central Tropical Atlantic, is moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h. This system is expected to gradually develop into a tropical cyclone over the next few days as it approaches and then moves over the northern portion of the Lesser Antilles.
Regardless of development, adverse weather conditions will begin affecting the northern portion of the region from late Monday into Tuesday. Interests in the region should closely monitor the progress of this system.
