TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

Moisture and instability in the lower atmosphere will continue to produce occasional cloudiness, with scattered showers and possibly isolated thunderstorms over the southern portion of the region, mainly during the first half of the forecast period.

A tropical wave located over the western Tropical Atlantic, is moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h. This wave is expected to begin affecting the region from tonight.

Another tropical wave over the eastern Tropical Atlantic, is moving westward near 9 mph or 15 km/h.

An area of low pressure is expected to form over the central Tropical Atlantic in a few days.  Some slow development of this system is possible during the next seven (7) days as it moves westward to west-northwestward near 13 mph or 20 km/h.
