FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES

Fair to partly cloudy and hazy, with a few showers over the Leeward Islands. Over the Windward Islands and areas further south, partly cloudy to cloudy, breezy and hazy, with scattered showers.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

The Atlantic High-Pressure System will generate moderate to brisk easterly winds and locally rough seas across the Eastern Caribbean, during the next few days. Low-level clouds drifting along the wind flow, will cause some scattered showers mostly over the southern half of the region tonight.

A tropical wave located a few hundred miles east of the Windward Islands will cause occasional cloudiness with light to moderate showers over the southern half of the region, from late tonight into tomorrow.

Another tropical wave located over the central Tropical Atlantic, is moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h. This wave is expected to affect our region on Thursday.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected over the Tropical Atlantic, during the next seven (7) days.
