TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

Moderate to brisk easterly winds are expected over the Eastern Caribbean region during the next few days. Patches of low-level clouds drifting along the wind flow will produce a few brief showers over the region during the next 24 hours.

A tropical wave located over the central Atlantic is moving westward near 20 mph or 31 Km/h.

A broad area of low pressure, associated with another tropical wave located southeast of the Cabo Verde Islands continues to produce a limited and disorganized area of showers and thunderstorms, while it moves west-northwestward at 10 to 15 mph. Significant development of this system is not expected before environmental conditions become even less favorable for development over the weekend.
