FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES

Partly cloudy, hazy and breezy, becoming cloudy at times with some light to moderate showers and a chance of isolated thunderstorms over the southern Windward Islands. Fair, hazy and breezy, becoming cloudy at times with a few brief showers, elsewhere.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

A shearline will continue to cause scattered showers and possibly thunderstorms over the southern portion of the Lesser Antilles, during the forecast period. Patches of low-level clouds drifting along a moderate to brisk easterly wind flow, will cause a few showers over the remainder of the region.

A tropical wave located just east of the Lesser Antilles is expected to affect the region from late Friday. The wave is moving westward near 17 mph or 28 km/h.

Two other tropical waves located over the eastern and far eastern Tropical Atlantic are also moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h. Tropical cyclone formation is not expected over the Tropical Atlantic during the next 7 days.
