FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with some scattered showers and a chance of isolated
thunderstorms over the southern Lesser Antilles. Elsewhere, fair skies, becoming
cloudy at times with a few showers.
TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
Moist and unstable conditions trailing a tropical wave, will continue to cause cloudiness, showers and possibly thunderstorms mainly across the southern portion of the region, during the forecast period.
Another tropical wave located over the central Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 23 mph or 37 km/h. This wave is expected to affect the region starting tomorrow.
A third tropical wave located over the far eastern Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 26 mph or 43 km/h.
A fourth tropical wave is expected to move off the west coast of Africa on Monday, and an area of low pressure could form in association with this wave early this week. Environmental conditions are forecast to be marginally conducive for development and a tropical depression could form by the middle or latter portion of this week, while the system moves generally westward near 15 to 20 mph across the eastern and central Tropical Atlantic.
