At 11:00 am today, the remnants of Dolly was located near latitude 15.0 North, longitude 46.9 West or about 1000 miles 1610 kilometers east of the Leeward Islands. Dolly is moving toward the west near 25 mph (41 km/h) and this motion is expected to continue for the next couple of days. On this forecast track, the remnants of Dolly should be nearing the Leeward Islands on Saturday and Sunday. Maximum sustained winds are near 40 mph (65 km/h), with higher gusts. The winds associated with the remnants of Dolly is expected to decrease below tropical storm force by Saturday.
Heavy rain from this system could begin to affect the Leeward Islands from late
Saturday into Sunday.
