TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

The Atlantic High-Pressure System will maintain light to moderate easterly winds across the Eastern Caribbean during the next few days. However, weak unstable conditions in the lower atmosphere will cause a few cloudy periods with showers during the forecast period.

A tropical wave located over the central Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near

15 mph or 24 km/h.

A tropical wave accompanied by a low-pressure system is producing large but disorganized shower and thunderstorm activity over the eastern Tropical Atlantic.

Conditions are marginally conducive for development over the next day or two before upper-level winds become too strong for any further development. The system is moving slowly northward to north northwestward.
