WEATHER SUMMARY
A weak tropical wave in the vicinity of the south Eastern Caribbean, will cause occasional cloudiness with some scattered showers over that area, during the next 24 hours. An upper level jet stream over the northern portion of the region, will cause partly cloudy conditions with a few showers over those islands, during the forecast period.
The Atlantic High Pressure System will continue to generate moderate to brisk easterly winds and above normal seas around the Eastern Caribbean, during the next couple of days.
Saharan dust haze will continue to cause a reduction in visibility and air quality across our region, during the next few days.
The alert level at the La Soufriere volcano in Saint Vincent remains at Orange due to reduced activity over the past few weeks. However, interests in Saint Lucia and the south-eastern Caribbean region are advised to continue monitoring official sources for updates.
