TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

The Atlantic High Pressure System will continue to generate moderate to brisk easterly winds and rough seas around the Eastern Caribbean region for the next few days.

A large plume of Saharan dust continues to cause reduced visibility, poor air quality and suppressed shower activity over most of our region. Concentrations are expected to gradually decrease during the next couple of days.

A weak tropical wave located in the vicinity of the southern Windward Islands will cause cloudiness and showers over these islands and areas further south during the next 24 hours.

Another tropical wave located over the central tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 20 mph or 31 km/h. This wave is expected to bring cloudiness, showers and thunderstorms over the Eastern Caribbean region tomorrow.

A third tropical wave located over the far eastern tropical Atlantic is also moving westward near 20 mph or 31 km/h.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected over the tropical Atlantic during the next five days.
