TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

The Atlantic High Pressure System is expected to generate a moderate easterly wind flow across the Lesser Antilles during the next 24 hours.

Saharan dust will continue to reduce visibility around our region for the next

few days.

A weak tropical wave located a few hundred miles east of the Lesser Antilles is

moving westward near 17 mph or 28 km/h. No significant rainfall is expected with

the passage of this wave.

 A tropical wave located over the central Tropical Atlantic is moving west northwestward at about 20 mph. Some slow development of this system is possible during the next 2 to 3 days. Thereafter, environmental conditions become less conducive for development.

A third tropical wave is located over the eastern Tropical Atlantic is moving

westward near 12 mph or 19 km/h.
