FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES

Fair to partly cloudy and hazy with a few scattered showers.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

The Atlantic High Pressure System is expected to generate a moderate easterly wind flow across the Lesser Antilles during the next few days. Low level clouds drifting along the wind flow will cause some scattered showers over the islands during the next 24 hours.

Saharan dust concentrations around the region is expected to diminish.

A weak tropical wave located a few hundred miles east of the Lesser Antilles is moving westward near 12 mph or 19 km/h. This wave is expected to cause some cloudiness and showers mainly over the extreme southern portion of the region from tomorrow.

A tropical wave located over the central Tropical Atlantic is moving west- northwestward at about 20 mph. Some slow development of this system is possible during the next two days. Thereafter, environmental conditions become less conducive for development. This system is expected to bring cloudiness, showers and isolated thunderstorms over the region on Wednesday.

A third tropical wave located over the eastern Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h.
