TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
A tropical wave located about 900 miles east of the Lesser Antilles is moving westward near 23 mph or 37 km/h. This wave has a low chance of further development over the next five days.
Another tropical wave located over the eastern tropical Atlantic, is moving westward near 12 mph or 19 km/h. Slow development of this system is possible while it turns northwestward over the western Atlantic by early next week.
At 11:00 am today, the centre of Hurricane Isaias was located at 21.7N 74.5W, or about 295 miles or 470 kilometres southeast of Nassau, Bahamas. Isaias is moving toward the northwest near 16 mph or 26km/h. Hurricane Isaias does not pose a threat to the Lesser Antilles.
