A weak tropical wave will cause occasional cloudiness and showers over the Lesser Antilles during the next 24 hours.

Another tropical wave located over the central tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 20 mph or 31 km/h. This wave has a low chance of development during the next five days.

The tropical wave located over the eastern tropical Atlantic has been upgraded to a tropical depression. At 5:00 pm today, the center of Tropical Depression Ten was located near latitude 15.9 North, longitude 20.0 West. The depression is moving toward the north near 9 mph or 15 km/h and is forecast to remain over the eastern tropical Atlantic where it is expected to dissipate by Saturday night. Tropical Depression Ten does not pose a threat to the Lesser Antilles.
