TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

The Atlantic High Pressure System will continue to generate moderate north-easterly to easterly winds across the Eastern Caribbean during the next 24hours.

Saharan dust will continue to cause a reduction in air quality and visibility over our region during the forecast period.

A strong tropical wave is expected to produce gusty winds, locally heavy rainfall and isolated thunderstorms across portions of the Windward and Leeward Islands from tonight into tomorrow.

A second tropical wave located over the Central Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 20 mph or 31 km/h.
Another tropical wave located over the eastern tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 9 mph or 15 km/h. This system has a medium chance of development during the next five days.
