TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
A weak tropical wave will cause some scattered showers over parts of the lesser Antilles during the next 24 hours. A plume of Saharan dust haze is expected to cause a reduction in visibility and air quality over our region following the passage of this tropical wave.
A second tropical wave located over the eastern Tropical Atlantic is moving
westward near 21 mph or 33 km/h. This system has a low chance of tropical cyclone
formation during the next five days.
A third tropical wave located over the far eastern tropical Atlantic is also moving westward.
The alert level at the La Soufriere volcano in Saint Vincent remains at Orange.
