TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

A weak surface to low level trough will produce a few cloudy periods with scattered showers over the Eastern Caribbean region during the next 24 hours.

A rapidly approaching tropical wave, located over the western Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 20 mph or 31 km/h. The wave is expected to begin affecting the Eastern Caribbean region from late Saturday.

Saharan dust haze will continue to cause a reduction in visibility and air quality around our region over the next few days.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected over the Tropical Atlantic during the next five days.
