A tropical wave located over the Central Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h. The wave is expected to begin affecting the region on Thursday night.
A second tropical wave located over the eastern Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 17 mph or 28 km/h. There is a low chance of further development of this system, over the next two days.
Tropical storm Fred is over the Dominican Republic and is moving toward the west-northwest near 15 mph or 24 km/h. This system poses no threat to Saint Lucia and the rest of the Lesser Antilles.
