TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
A plume of Saharan dust will cause a reduction in visibility and air quality across the Lesser Antilles over the next few days.
A tropical wave, located over the central Tropical Atlantic is moving westward at about 14 mph or 22 km/h. This wave is expected to get to the islands by Tuesday night.
Another Tropical wave, located over the eastern Tropical Atlantic is also moving westward at about 14 mph /22 km/h.
At 5:00 pm today, the centre of Tropical Depression Grace was located near latitude 17.0 north, longitude 67.3 west or about 200 miles or 320 kilometres east-southeast of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph or 55 km/h, with higher gusts. Grace is moving toward the west at about 15 mph or 24 km/h.
