TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

Moist and unstable conditions over the Eastern Caribbean region will continue to cause occasional cloudiness and some scattered showers over the Lesser Antilles today.

Saharan dust haze will reduce visibility and air quality around the region during the forecast period.

A tropical wave located less than 400 miles or 640 kilometres east of the Windward Islands is moving toward the west near 15 mph or 24 km/h. This system is expected to produce locally heavy rainfall, gusty winds and thunderstorms mainly over the central and northern portions of the Lesser Antilles from late tonight into Tuesday.
