FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES

Partly cloudy, hazy and breezy, occasionally becoming cloudy with some scattered showers, mainly over the southern portion of the Lesser Antilles. Elsewhere, fair to partly cloudy hazy and breezy with a few brief showers.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

A mid to upper level trough system coupled with moisture advection from the south, will cause occasional cloudiness with some scattered showers, mainly over the southern portion of the Lesser Antilles during the next 24 hours.

A tropical wave located over the western tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 20 mph or 31km/h. This wave is expected to affect our region from late tomorrow into Saturday.

A second tropical wave located over the far eastern Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 20 mph or 31 km/h.

Saharan dust haze will continue to cause a reduction in visibility and air quality around the Eastern Caribbean during the next few days.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected over the Tropical Atlantic during the next five (5) days.
