FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES

Over the central Windward Islands and areas further south, partly cloudy to cloudy, hazy, windy, some scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. Elsewhere partly cloudy skies with a few showers.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

Potential Tropical Cyclone Two continues to move westward away from the Eastern Caribbean region. Lingering moisture and instability in the wake of the system will continue to generate periods of cloudiness, some scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms across parts of the Eastern Caribbean region during the next 24 hours.

The severe weather advisory has been discontinued for Saint Lucia from 6:00 am today.

Two tropical waves located over the central Tropical Atlantic are moving westward near 17 mph or 28 km/h and 20 mph or 31 km/h respectively. The waves have a low chance of development over the next five days and are expected to begin affecting the Lesser Antilles from Friday.   

A third tropical wave is located near the African coast and is moving westward near 17 mph or 28 km/h.
