TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

The atmosphere over the Eastern Caribbean region, remains sufficiently moist and unstable to continue to generate periods of cloudiness with scattered showers and a chance of isolated thunderstorms during the forecast period.

A tropical wave located over the western Tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 12 mph or 19 km/h. This wave is expected to affect our region from late Wednesday into Thursday producing increased periods of cloudiness, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.

Another tropical wave located over the eastern Tropical Atlantic is moving briskly westward near 23 mph or 37 km/h. This wave has a low chance of tropical cyclone development during the next five days.
