TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

The Atlantic high pressure system will generate moderate easterly winds and maintain mostly fair conditions over the Lesser Antilles during the forecast period.

An area of low pressure associated with a tropical wave located over the central tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h. This system has a low chance of tropical cyclone formation during the next five days.

Another tropical wave located over the eastern tropical Atlantic, is also moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h. This wave has a low chance of tropical cyclone formation during the next five days.

A third tropical wave is forecast to emerge off the west coast of Africa early next week. Some gradual development of this wave is possible during the next five days, while it moves generally westward across the eastern tropical Atlantic.
